Our Early Years Curriculum

Our curriculum is intended to support every child to reach their full potential, be confident and resilient and foster a love of learning which is taken with them through out their childhood and into adulthood.

We do this through carefully planning our environment to ensure all children are able to participate fully regardless of where they are in their development journey. Resources are developmentally appropriate and provide awe and wonder in which young children are naturally drawn to. We place emphasis on speech, language and communication as we recognise that this is a life skill and underpins all areas of development from  personal and social development to maths and literacy. We use books in all of our continuous provision to scaffold learning and sing nursery rhymes and action rhymes to help develop language and vocabulary.
